How To Delete Your Pointalize App Account

This one doesn’t come up often (thankfully!), but if you ran into any problems with the app or extension,
please do reach out to info@pointalize.com first so we can
assist with any issues. We always appreciate product feedback if you couldn’t find a feature you were
looking for.

If you’re wanting to merge two accounts, please email support first instead, as it’s much easier to do that
before you delete your data for one account.

Steps to Delete Your Account

If you still wish to delete your account, you can do so directly within the app:

Open the Pointalize app on your device.
Go to the Profile tab (icon in the bottom left navigation).
Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
Tap the Delete Account button (red icon).
Confirm your choice in the dialog that appears.

Warning: Deleting your account is permanent. All your data, including saved cards, wallet
information, and benefit tracking progress, will be immediately removed from our servers and cannot be
recovered.

Data Retention Policy

Upon account deletion:

Personal Information: Your email address and user profile are permanently deleted along
with any associated identifiers.
Wallet Data: All records of cards you have added, their statuses, and approvals are
permanently deleted.
Backups: Your data is removed from our active database immediately. It may persist in
encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being completely overwritten.
